Adam Mentioned in Queen's New Book

I was reading a just-published history/biography of Queen, and Adam's in it. The book is called "Is This the Real Life?" by Mark Blake.



A chapter that reviews what the band has done since Freddie Mercury died mentions their appearance on the Season 8 AI finale to perform We Are the Champions with Adam and Kris Allen. Brian May tells the author, "I've not always been positive about shows like this. But there is no doubt that it offers a door to some real genuine talent along the way." Then author Blake writes, "It was Adam Lambert, the eventual runner-up, who truly impressed them. 'He's the most phenomenal singer,' said Roger Taylor, "And we would like to do something with him.'"

    OMG ladies! The way you put all the Fergie linked stuff together is amazing. The interview made me want to cry. I had heard him mention the 'Fergie hug' before but to hear him so happy talking about the whole experience was beautiful. The pictures and tweets that follow just seem to document his continuing success and his connection to the people around him. It makes me so happy to see that wherever he goes people fall in love with him like we have. xxx

    brilliant job today loved this and loved the video clip of adam talking about the hug from Fergie then to see them together again just makes you realize what an amazing person he is and how people are just drawn to him. He has this energry that just makes you feel good and want to be within his circle because it makes you feel loved and wanted. I know weird right. anyways as always a job well done. BRAVO you are amazing.

    Love, just love, seeing Adam having so much fun with all these people. He must be so happy now. And that Queen mention was interesting - wouldn't some type of collaboration be mind-blowing? This is a nice coincidence, too - last night I was trying to put all the concerts in order and here, today, my prayers are answered. What dedication by lambosessed - absolutely amazing!     Thanks again for another GREAT Blog! I love all the pics - some that I hadn't seen before, and they warmed my heart :) It's so nice to see that he's out having fun and not just working away at his new album. And the press just loves anything at all that they can print about him. That boy is just never going to fade away into oblivion, LOL

    haha great. The waving arm woman cracked me up too! I still haven't watched my DVD (I've had it over a week but waiting for the right time when I can watch it uninterrupted). I'm going to watch it tonight while I boycott DWTS. I've listened to the CD though....it's amazzzzzzinggg!!!
