This past year, I was very unsure of myself.I was struggling with my weight and my grades, and especially my depression.I was afraid to be who I was.
Then I heard of a man named Adam Lambert, and he changed me.I admired that he wasn’t afraid to be who he was, despite all the haters and prejudice against the LGBT community.His amazing voice and his music expressed himself and what he believes in.He inspired me to love who I was and be comfortable in my own skin.
He gave me courage to do things I never thought I could do, like singing in public, or trying out for the lead in the play.I got in touch with my inner star.Now, when I walk the halls of my school, I proudly wear a wristband that says “I love Adam Lambert” as my special way of thanking him for all the ways he’s helped me.

Adam Talks about his 2nd album in IN ROCK Magazine

Interview by Yuko Kato/INROCK, over the phone, June 28, 2011 (LA, USA)
Summary: - Adam will probably come to Japan next year - He has been working on his second album for three months now - He has already recorded 25 songs or so - The album will probably be completed in October (or around that time) -
The second album will be more "personal" (not just about himself but about everyone) - All the tracks of the second album will be the songs he wrote (he'll write all the songs) - He's been able to spend a lot more time for this second album, both for writing the songs and recording the vocals -
The second album will be more realistic, closer to the earth (than FYE, which was kind of "in the universe") - "Working with Christina Aguilera" was just a rumor, it's Adam Levine who's been working with her - About Adam Levine, Adam thinks Levine just didn't know the song (so no bad feelings). Fans might have over-reacted a little, but he appreciates their being supportive. -
FYE was really theatrical so GNT was theatrical, homage to glam-rock in the 70s, 80s, a love letter to his favorite artists such as David Bowie or Boy George. The second album will be more current, rather than retro. -
Being asked about Adele, he says that his album will have more electronic sound than hers. What she inspires him most is the way she reminds him that it's "voice" that's the most important. She just proves it by her singing. That's what people want from her.
She doesn't need any sound-effects, beats, or special synthesizers to reminds him of the strength of a song. She does it by valuing the emotions in her voice, the quality of it, the atmosphere of it. Her voice is incredible. -
In response to the interviewer's "Oh, everyone thinks YOUR voice is incredible", he says "thank you".

Adam Inspires Story thanks to Yvonne!
Hi Guys, I have been tempted to enter this last week but then kept changing my mind. So here goes.
My name is Yvonne, I am a grand mother to three grandchildren, one is in the Army so I’m afraid
you all shall have to guess my age; and I live in Australia.
The first time I saw Adam was on Oprah, just after American Idol. I’m in Australia so had no idea who he
was; but was totally mesmerized, gob-smacked, teary eyed, amazed, stunned all at the same time, then of course the song he sang just blew me away. I thought to myself that if he was going to come to
Australia I would be in the front row of his gig. Nothing was going to stop me, I would parachute on
to Ayers Rock if I had to, or swim shark infested waters to an island just to be in his presence.
Everyone was telling me I should change my “old-age pills”!! I told them to mind their own business as I was
thinking of getting some stronger ones. “Oh No” I could here them say.
GLAMNATION; YES it’s coming to Australia, 3 concerts only, all interstate, who cares ‘cause I’m going to all
3, How am I going to pay for the tickets, ? plane fares ?, accommodation ? meals ? taxis ? OH BOY,
SO………………I was prepared to sell/hock something, but I was going..
Stayed up all night to get tickets, afraid to go to sleep in case I missed out. YES I got 3. Yippee. Now start
planning. What’s this “Meet & Greet” it was a ‘MUST HAVE’ Yes, Yes, Yes I had enough money; GOT ONE!!
I was on cloud nine, ten, eleven, twelve etc. I was a total wreck, to actually see him, smell him, hug him OMG.
Then I had to have different clothes, feather boas, purple glam.tshirt, glitter silver, gold, purple, blue; black nail polish.
Mascara eye shadow the whole shebang. I have a long sideways fringe like TJR’s so I thought to myself
I’m gonna dye it purple. And I did. WOW looks great. I decided to keep it.
By this time they’re all scratching their heads, “she’s gone round the twist”!! I was being told “You can’t go out
looking like that. My reply, “bullsh8t, just try to stop me”; and away I went.
Adam brought out the young girl that is trapped inside, made my dull life brighter, gave me hope, just to be in his
aura was indescribable, I don’t think I have every felt this way about anybody or anything. Yes, even now I am
tearing up again. He has a very old soul and yes, he has been here before.
