I love your daily quotes & open your email first to drool over the Adam pics.

Adams eternal smile & (occasionally snapped) quizical looks coupled with his constant fashionable outfits & interactions on twitter with his adoring glamberts- makes him a "friedn/acquaintance" for every day-- no need to go away & be bored until new music/tours-- Adam is accessible (to a degree) constantly.

No danger of rejection here- he is gay & im a straight female-yay!!-it  never enters the equation!!!

Met him in Australia last year- he is sweet & polite & so handsome.

Walked away dazed & after attending his 2 shows am hooked on his charisma  & professionalism & vocal perfection & range.

He inspires me to participate in the "real world" again after 3 years of thinking its all toooo hard & not worth the effort. "you make me want to listen to the music again" Adam & i love you

Hi Sweetie, 

I've been enjoying all the contest posts, such wonderful moving stories of courage and empathy. My story with Adam is not nearly so interesting or momentous but it sure means a lot to me. So if you need any plain old stories about falling in love, here's mine. I've added my favorite photos from the four concerts I went to.

MY STORY WITH ADAM - Or How a 29 year old gay man brought me joy & happiness .. who knew ?

I was happy, I had a wonderful life, a husband better than most, great talented kids, life was good, nothing to complain about .... well, the mirror is not exactly my friend anymore, where did those wrinkles come from ? The kids are grown up and living their own lives, as they should, good for them, oh, I miss the concerts, the big meals, the commotion, but the peace & quiet is good. When was my last romantic dinner ? Did I appreciate it when we were young and busy ? That's OK, we had a blast and it is still good. While he naps I will watch Idol, that's always fun, I never vote though, that's for the teenyboppers. 

Whoa, who is that ? Bohemian Rhapsody, I LOVED Freddy Mercury, this should be interesting. Wait just a darn minute, WHO is this kid ???Oh good, its Tuesday again, his name is Adam, I think I like him. Was that a tear in his eye when Simon complimented him ? OMG, he has a beautiful soul with humanity that shows. Sis, are you watching this, can you believe this kid ? Honey, wake up, this show is really good this year. OMFG, what was THAT ??? Ring of Fire ! Remember Jagger, Elvis, Prince, WOW it's been a long time since I've seen anything like that. Another Tuesday, another Tuesday, another Tuesday, tape, re-watch, tape re-watch. Google. That smile, the hair, the swagger, the staircase, OMG this is fun. Hurry up Tuesday, can't wait to see what he does next. Is he gay ?? So what, I'm so beyond that. I better start voting, I want him to win. I really like this kid, but damn, what are those feelings I don't recognize. I was 16 and it was Paul McCartney and I thought of him constantly, this is crazy.  Kiss, Queen ! Best finale ever !!!  He lost- WTF !  But look at how gracious he is, how charming, how mesmerizing. I need to read more about him.

An article by Angelica Huston on the meaning of Adam Lambert. Phew, I'm not crazy, there are other sane, normal, well-adjusted women out there who are wondering the same thing I am. This man has jumped into my heart and makes me feel good, makes me feel young. I listen to music again, I sing in the car, I find myself smiling for no reason. And these women I am meeting and sharing feelings with, they are from all over the world and are fabulous. We are sharing a kinship that is deep and real. I don't dare tell my "real" friends. Adam who ? They think I am off my rocker and totally inappropriate ... but why does it feel so good ?

I am going to see the Idol show ! Yes I am ! When Adam sings all the air is sucked out of the room, mainly from old ladies like me screaming with our newly re-discovered teenage voices. Look at us ! We're having fun again ! Can't wait to get online and tell my new friends, they totally get it.

Are you crazy ? You're going to NYC with these people you met online, to see who ? Oh yes, get out of my comfort zone, do something daring, get with it sister, you were getting old and boring, Adam says it is all good, we can all party together. And OMFG, what he did at the Highline Ballroom ! He had sex with all of us ..... hide that blush and go with it, he is an entertainer like no other and I think I am in love ... but not just with him, with life, with all the fabulous Glambertina sisters, with a world where we are all equal and accepting. He is changing the world !

You need how many tickets to Foxwoods ?  It is the Glam Nation Tour and every fan is making a pilgrimage to  see the man who has changed our lives, who has made us get up off our asses and dance, who makes us cry at his vulnerability, to hopefully see the most famous kiss ever and wish it was with us, but it's OK that it is with a man because that is sooo right. And I am going to bring my gay friend as a gift to Adam. Yes, get me 12 tickets ! And he does !!!! Because he sees how happy Adam has made me and I'm not bored anymore because my world is a much better place with Adam in it.
