Story of Inspiration thanks to Anonymous!

i wanna say I really love your blog and appreciate all your efforts in giving the fandom our daily Adam dose. 

This is the first time I write the story of how I got to know Adam, and how he changed my life. 

First here's a little bit about me, I'm in my 20s ,I still study in a university and I'm the youngest in my family. I come from a really Conservative community where traditions(good and bad) are sacred and "different" things are bashed, where a person could be deported and even jailed just because of love, and be considered as a pariah.

When i was younger(14-17 y/o), my family faced lots of struggles that left us always stressed out and got my family busy, in these times I always found myself alone and feeling lonely with no one to talk to, or trust,and in school I was always shy and kept to myself, i had very little friends. 

When I was 14, my feelings for my best friend changed and became stronger, I didn't know what it was but I really liked her and enjoyed spending time w her,and I used to let her know that but  after a while she started to hang out less with me and avoid me, and 1 day she stopped talking to me literally. I guess she freaked out,I was really hurt and I didn't know where did I go wrong. 

In the next few years I noticed that I liked girls more than just friends.. That i was attracted to girls the way I was attracted to boy, I was terrified and didn't want to believe it, I fully rejected the thought, I didn't understand how that could be possible when everyone I know said that it was wrong and believed that topics like this is cosidered a taboo that no one should talk about,these years were my dark years, I hated myself for these feelings I was convinced there was sth wrong with me and that I needed to see a therapist, I was ashamed of myself and always felt guilty, and terrified that someone would know all about me. 

And this left me with zero self esteem and social awkwardness coz I've build these walls around me so no one can see through me, and know my secrets, I tried so hard to ignore it, and by not accepting myself I've made so many mistakes and hurt myself and so many others.

At first When I saw Adam for the first time on AI I was utterly fascinated by his looks and his beauty, I liked him but and when AI finished I just didnt care that much, so one day in November i came across an article abt the AMA's where Adam kissed Tommy i was shocked and at the same time amazed by his 'i dont give a shit' attitude and this very bold move..in my head thoughts like ' how could he do that what will ppl think of him doesn't he care at all..ppl will hate him for sure" were running in my mind, but he left me intrigued so I looked up all his previous interviews and started watching it. 

The more I watched him talk and sing with this ..oozing confidence the more I was convinced that this is the person I wanna be, I wanna be confident like him, I wanna open up to others and interact easily with them just like he does, I wnt ppl to appreciate me.

 And most importantly I wanted to love myself, the real me with all my "faults" just like he accepts all his flaws and he's not ashamed of not even a tiny bit of himself. I wanted that.

Also I found out that his 1st album was released that time so I listened to it and fell in love with it especially WWFM. I remember that period everytime I would listen to soaked and aftermath I would end up crying both tears of sadness and happiness; he gave me hope that I will never be alone,that it's gonna get better, that my soul will be okay, that one day ppl will start accepting me but of course all this will happen once I accept myself first.

He taught me a great lesson,that I should never judge a book by it's cover, that I shouldn't presume some things abt a person without knowing them, sadly I used to discriminate and judge ppl, I remember I used to dislike this girl just because her facial expressions made her seem snobbish, we took a class together and now she's one of my good friends..

 No matter what are differences are We are all the same in the end.  
Till that period I've never loved or liked any band or artist or even someone I know (except my family) with this much passion the way I love Adam, I never felt all these strong emotions and feelings before. He can brighten my whole day only by looking at his photo in my phone wallpaper or by listening to one of his songs...etc

Whenever I face a somewhat difficult situation, I try to think what would Adam do or say. Sometimes when I  have presentation in Uni I get really nervous that I woud f**k up infront of 90 sth students or I would make a fool of myself and they would laugh at me , but then I think of Adam and how he used to strut every week and perform infront of millions knowing that lots of them wouldn't like what he's doing and not caring at all because he believes in himself and his talent, or I would think of 10 years old Adam who started performing at that young age. If he could do it then I could do it.
  
The other day I had this new class, so the instructor asked us to introduce ourselves, and I said that I'm the biggest fan of Adam lambert xD, but shamefully half of my class doesn't know who He is and the other half who do know him only identify him as that gay dude from AI:( even though i saw some wierd knowing looks that judged me but that doesn't matter I was so proud of myself when I said it because its the first time that I tell someone (publicly) other than my friends and family that I love him, I know that Adam would be proud of me too because I didn't care what other ppl think of me.

Last thing I wanna say is that I adore Adam. And I wanna add to the common reasons of "why we love him?" we all know (his voice, his looks,his generousity,sexiness, cuteness, fan service, Mr. glambulge....I'm sure this list would never end ;D) I love him because he makes me feel better about myself, and he got me rid of all the shame and guilt I ever had because of my difference.


(I'm really sorry if some parts dont make any sense,English isn't my 1st language. and it's a little bit jumbled up coz I really hate writing but I wanted to do it coz I felt like this is the least I can do to show my appreciation)
