The main headliner that I don’t think many predicted are Queen, with none other than American Idol superstar Adam Lambert. It’s a fantastic announcement for more reasons than one. I mean, Queen will never be the same band without the late great Freddie Mercury, but they’re still known to put on a great show, and with the amount of hits they have, it’s impossible to imagine one festival goer who doesn’t know at the very least a couple of their tunes. The talking point here is Adam Lambert, who, like it or not, is one of the only people in the world right now who share Freddie Mercury’s androgynous persona, unearthly vocal and theatrical stage antics. If you let bygones be bygones, then you can’t fault the bands decision to invite him along to pay respect to the awesome Mercury. (??)

Back in 2009, Brian May listened to "Time for Miracles" and had this to say about Adam Lambert!
