Voting Links

I've given the voting issue some thought and here is what I have arrived at.  The only links I am going to promote  are ones that have some benefit for Adam.  Does the poll give him more fans, more sales, more exposure?

We worked very hard at the Ultimate Idol poll and of course, Adam won. We know that Adam is the greatest Idol contestant ever. So, I do not see the point in taking part in any more Idol related polls.  I think that Adam has moved well beyond that and the only thing most of them will do is create animosity among Glamberts and other fan groups.  

The Q102 poll was for us, not Adam.  I asked the station if they would play some of the winner's music and they said that the poll was just for fun. Also notice that Adam did not tweet anything about this win.  

 I think if we stick together as a group and refuse to take part in polls that aren't offering some benefit to the winner, we may cause some of the poll creators to think more in order to gain hits for themselves.

In the future, if you ask me to promote a contest, I will ask you what is in it for Adam. If there is a benefit, I will vote and promote and do whatever I can to help.

Each person, of course, can make there own decision about what they want to do in each case.  I just do not want to waste any of my Adam time on things that are not important.

    Not loving the new tattoo...yet. They are such personal design choices so what I think really doesn't count. I'm sure it has meaning to Adam and I do understand that sort of connection.

    I think the tattoo is great and I love that Adam does what HE wants to do and doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks. I think a key is a very intriguing choice. I wonder what he's going to say about its meaning.

    I love Adam's skeleton key tattoo; a little large but nonetheless nice to look at. I hope he stops at this, because he doesn't need any more art work on those beautiful arms or that exquisite body; and I PRAY that he does not do a thing with his neck; sorry, but that is hideous! The bed pictures gave me palpitations - sooo beautiful!!! I wonder what this key opens up?

    And I am on board with you 100% with the contest guidelines; if it does not benefit Adam one iota, then the whole thing is a waste of time.

    Gloria, everything today was glorious -- the bed pictures especially. OMG. I couldn't agree more about the polls. I got caught up in the Q102 poll, especially during the week that it was Adam vs. Clay, and now I have to ask myself why. By any sane measure, Carrie Underwood, with her multi-platinum album sales and multiple Grammy awards and Entertainer of the Year awards, is the ultimate Idol, and we can only hope and evangelize for Adam to achieve the same level of success. I want to spend my Adam time having fun and turning myself and others on to Adam's wonderful music and performances. Period.

    I agree completely with the voting thing-we could spend the time promoting his messages of love and acceptance instead. I am so proud of Sauli and his relationship with Adam! He seems like such an honorable man and Adam deserves that. Does anyone else feel slightly guilty looking at pap pics of Adam just trying to have a life? I mean-I love looking at him in his 'every day' mode-but give him a break sometimes!Just afraid their attention will harden his heart more and more. @Glamgran58

    So many great posters here - love what they say about the polls, the incredible pics here, and Adam's increasingly disappearing private life. All we want to do is make sure that this incredible performer and beautiful man reaches those goals in life that are most important to him and that make him happy.     Gloria, I agree with you about the polls. We should be mindful of the fact that there are journalists who think Glamberts are nuts for voting Adam first in every little poll. Adam needs the support of the legitimate press and his fans going overboard will not help him to achieve this support. If winning will benefit him, I say vote to your heart's content, though.

    I don't feel guilty for looking at the pics of Adam doing whatever. Seeing his pics makes me feel good, makes me happy, so why not? Especially if they are on this site. Paps may be intrusive, but that's part of his life as a celebrity now and there's not much he can do about it. The price of fame and all that rot, ya know? I hope he can accept that, go on about his business, and not let it upset him too much.

    The bed pics are so sensual and just really beautiful. He is so handsome it makes my heart hurt; he's the most beautiful man I've ever seen. The close-up of him looking up as if he's having wonderful daydreams is now my desktop background. I love his long lashes and sweet pink, freckly lips.

    Thanks for all you do, Gloria, for all the work you put into this site. I don't feel complete until I go here each day. This is my first post; I have been lurking for a long time, but finally got up the nerve to comment. I am Sharron in Missouri aka eldopeanut61.

    Gloria, you are absolutely right about voting in these polls. They really should mean something for Adam not just having all his fans voting like crazy so he can be #1 in a meaningless poll. He is, and always will be, #1 to all of us. Also, the 2010 Paris photos are to die for. That empty pillow next to Adam is conjuring up a fantasy .... sweet! Thanks for all the hard work and your relentless dedication to keeping Adam in our world everyday. Peace.
