Dear Glamberts:

Thanks so much for all the letters to Adam.  I lost count but will let you know the number once I get it all put together later today.  I will continue to post some of your letters on this blog so if you didn't give me permission and do not mind, let me know.  

I have so enjoyed reading your letters and  laughing and crying and feeling so proud of Adam.  It really has been a privilege to hear how you feel  and even though it's been a lot of work for me, I loved doing it!

My good friend @thefilmqueen put together a lovely cover page with some pictures which I will show you all once it's delivered.  (Want it to be a surprise for Adam)

One more idea! 

Does anyone have a husband or significant other who would like to send a letter of thanks to Adam?  (you know what I mean, haha!)  I was thinking it would be funny to include a few of those right at the very end of the book.  I believe Adam would be amused!   If you can get your partner to write a note to Adam about how life has  changed, please do it today and send to me. Or write a letter about your husband's response to Adam and your evolution and send that to me!

Adam Lambert says he and the members of Queen haven't discussed the possibility of playing dates in the U.S.

"It's just that one date at Sonisphere and the warm-up gig in Russia," Adam said Friday at a radio-station event in Nashville. The two acts are playing together June 30 in Moscow and July 7 in England, with Lambert filling the frontman spot left vacant by the Freddie Mercury's death in 1991.

"Maybe we'll be able to do, like, a special night somewhere here, I don't know," he said during an interview with 107.5 The River on-air personality Intern Adam. "But there's no plan. There hasn't even been talk of that, so don't get your hopes up."

 Dear Adam,

 I wrote the below almost three years ago on 20 July 2009, on your unofficial fansite http://www.adamofficial.com/ca/news/.  It was written as LuvAdam476 (476 being my Glambert #)  but I now go by @Gloria476 on twitter and most everything else.  Short letter after the "Why I'm a Fan".

Why I'm a Fan

Dear Adam,

You have had such a powerful and positive impact on my life!  You brought color back to my world!  Because of you, I'm more accepting of all people, less judgemental, more free to be me!!  I step out of my comfort zone and go a little "cuckoo" sometimes (totally legal lol), and don't care what others think!  And even though I don't personally know you, I feel like I do, because you let us into your world.  I thank you for that!  

Having you in my life was so major to me over the last 3 months.  My mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and I had to take off work to take care of her.  There was no one else....just me.  It was the most heartbreaking time of my life.  Some nights I was so sure I was gonna "lose it", watching her slowly die. 

But every day, every night....as I sat by her bed, I had YOU with me.  Your voice in my ipod soothed my soul, lifted my spirit, and really kept me going!  Being able to hear your music, and follow your exciting and crazy world through twitter and the net was the best distraction for me.  You were my "great escape" (my fave Canyons song!).  That meant the world to me!!!  

My mom is now gone, and while I still get sad and melancholy, I know that I have you in my life.  I could listen to you sing whatever.....forever!  You are truly a special person, your voice is magical, your soul beautiful.  I hope to meet you somehow, someday, and get one of those famous "Adam Hugs"!  I wish you love, light, and happiness always........

Hi Adam. 

I just want to thank you for putting music back into my life. I have always loved music but had stopped listening to the radio or buying new songs and pretty much only listened to my favorites like Led Zeppelin, Queen, Styx and the Alan Parsons Project. Your dramatic, emotional and charismatic style of singing leaves me rapturously drained. You also have introduced me to new artists I would probably never have listened to, for example Muse, Sam Sparro and Miike Snow. I can't thank you enough for that.

And thanks to you, my iPod is filled with not only my beloved classics but your songs (I admit I have numerous versions of the same song) and your recommendations, as well. So although what you have done for me isn't life changing in a huge way, my life SOUNDS and FEELS beautiful again. 

And I smile a lot more. Thank you. And if your gift of music wasn't enough, I also respect you immensely for your kind and generous spirit, your sense of humor, your loyalty, your unique and trendy sense of fashion, your beautiful smile....I really could go on and on, but I think you get the message. I'm your fan forever!
